The hidden, obvious truths...

A life worth living…

For some people, if asked what a life worth living is, it will be a life of providing for the loved ones, making sure they are safe and taken care of. It would be a life centred on family values, honesty and honour; a good life, by any measure.

For a lot of others, the idea of a life worth living will be connected to some grand goal, achieving something big, getting rich; attaining things and objects that we identify with the idea of success. It would be a life of focus and determination, problem-solving and always striding forward and doing better. Not a bad measure of life, also.

For a smaller number of people, it will be about becoming the best possible version of themselves, to strive for growth and learning and bettering themselves. It would be a life of constant inner growth and constant learning and integrating the knowledge gained through experiences and life circumstances. It would be a life measured by inner changes and expansion of both mind and hearth. A great life, indeed.

For certain amount of people, it will be about a life of service, giving something, improving the world and people of this world. It would be a life of self-sacrifice and determination, discipline and total dedication to others; a life with a deeply ingrained awareness that we are all One, that we are only here to give, to help, to contribute; knowing we are everything we strive to be already.

All of these are lives well-spent, honourable and useful. All of these are amazing and admirable aspirations.

But Life truly worth living has nothing to do with outer actions. It is not about fixing problems and moving from one situation to other. It has nothing to do with our goals, no matter how noble they might be. It is not about helping ourselves or anyone else.

A life worth living will include some or all of these things, that is true. But it has nothing to do with that. It is a life in which every breath counts, no matter where we are or what we do. It is a life of giving without expectations and living in every moment, exactly as it is.

A life worth living is a life that makes every heartbeat fun and worth being, pleasant or unpleasant. It is a life of understanding and enjoying the Path and all we encounter and experience on it.

A life worth living is a life where every breath is a miracle and every step an amazing journey. It is a life of inner bliss because it blossomed from a deeper understanding that everything is a part of the Divine and that nothing is in any way separated from it, whether seemingly painful or pleasurable.

It can be experienced in any condition, place or life circumstance. It doesn’t matter if you’re rich or poor, educated or illiterate; in prison, farm, village or city. It makes no difference how old you are, or what state your body is in. In fact, only when you realize the illusion of all those seemingly “real” things, the real life begins.

There is a breaking point on our Path; a crossroad where all the choices point towards one single direction. A moment when the mind subsides and a greater Force awakens, free at last, awake at last. It might come through pain and suffering or through joy and samadhi, it is different for each of us. But it does happen, it’s unavoidable.

Soner or later, at some point on your journey, we realize that there is no travelling necessary. We stop and out Truth catches on to us, finally. The joy we are made of shines through our perceptions and ideas; mind and thoughts. It overtakes everything else because it is only our true self, a secret hidden in plain sight. We regain our true vision again and nothing is ever the same.

Every moment, all of our lifetimes; every experience and event, everything we have ever been through suddenly makes perfect sense. The Truth we only knew by mind and heart becomes the Truth we are. God awaken.

Then, at that moment, a Life truly worth living begins, not to say everything up to that point meant nothing, quite the contrary – it will all fit into place and we will know that every moment was perfectly designed to nudge us forward, gently or brutally, through joy and pain, but always with Divine love and always with a total protection and guidance. We will realize that beyond any doubt, but knowing this Now, even through our mind or heart, should give us the courage to make the next steps, whatever our life circumstances seem to be at the moment.

So, fear not. Keep moving, keep making those steps, one at a time. Feel that this entire Creation is only here to make your Journey possible. All of this is made for you, all of your experiences designed specifically as you need them. Accept this and all becomes easier.

Understand that and your next step, hoverer small or unstable it might seem, will be clearly visible. Trust that right after that, a next one will show up, and the one after that.

Release the burden of constantly worrying about right and wrong choices to God, yours is only to feel and place one foot in front of the other. The Path is outlined already, anyway. You are Love and that is exactly where you’re heading back to, like a raindrop rushes towards the Ocean.

I was expecting a post relating to the game we made before feminine/masculine principals healing, but now I realize you referred to my comment about the euphoric feeling of great love and support of the Universe…

Yes, it dawned on me after a period of great pain and suffering in life and my cry for evidence of the existence of the Divine! Once “received”, it permeated the whole fabric of life.

And all the 4 purposes of life you listed at the beginning, although now secondary to what you call the Truth, have become more enthused and vibrant… ????
